Tom Doak Visit to Port Fairy Golf Club

February 2020 - Port Fairy Golf Links received a surprise visit from world renowned Golf Architect Tom Doak during the week. Responsible for such amazing courses as Barnbougle Dunes, St. Andrews Beach and New Zealands top ranked courses Tara Iti and Cape Kidnappers, Tom made the trip along the Great Ocean Road to see Port Fairy Golf Links first hand.

"Michael Clayton has been telling me for 15+ years that I should make the drive West from Melbourne to see this place, and I finally made it today. Can't think of a better golf course for $49 in this day and age."

A fantastic and humbling experience to have someone of Tom's stature in the game of golf come to see us. We hope to see him again soon!

Port Fairy Golf Club Ranked Number 31 in Australia :

January 2020 - The prestigious Golf Australia Magazine National rankings were announced at Christmas time 2019. The Port Fairy Golf Club was proud to discover that we have moved 12 spots on the list from 43 to number 31! A massive jump up the rankings has been a humbling and exciting development and recognition of decades of hard work by committee, members and staff. We hope that this new higher positioning will encourage golfers from Australia and around the Globe to come and visit our beautiful course and experience true links golf in the South West of the mainland!

Thank you to Golf Australia Magazine, the Port Fairy Golf Club Committee, Members and Staff.
