Our Junior Programme runs from November through to October the following year. It is for both Handicap and non-handicap juniors.
The aim is to have non-handicap juniors gain a handicap prior to the winter season. Junior golfers will attend clinics run by the club proffessionals until their skill development has been assessed as ready to progress into the program, this includes all MyGolf members.
All event days are available for handicap junior players. Those juniors with handicaps of 0 to 30 will play from the blue markers, while hadicaps from 31-36 will play from the red markers (white course). Tee times must be booked through the ProShop on these days for non-handicap juniors to play which must be done in conjuction with an adult mentor.
Juniors who participate in comps with more that 2 juniors playing will be awarded points which count towards end of year presentations. Winner receives 30 points, Runners up 30, Third Place 10 points, participation 5 points.
Juniors off all markers compete against each other. Juniors playing of blue markers are eligible to win their grade events (If the junior wins a graded event they are unable to win junior event for the day but are still awarded points for their end of year score).
Competition entry fee is $10.00 for 18 holes and $5.00 for both 6 and 9 hole events
